Theres a lot of ways to break these, like running creatures that create multiple bodies, but having to include these in certain build-arounds holds them back a bit

Even in Commander, attacking with three or more creatures is not at all uncommon (even more so if youre facing token decks), which means that unless you use it in a pinch for a single card or two (which still makes for a better ROI than your baseline options), youre easily going to be able to restock your hand for minimal effort
