The patina is a splotchy white to lite white…I do not see a single patina chip

slick brown colour

as is the entire bullet & one mold seam can be faintly seen

The condition of the hulls is great. I see no breaks or cracks. I have dug Burnside hulls stuck together a couple times here in NE Tenn. I have heard that sticking these hulls together created a tool used to remove hot hulls from the Burnside chamber. Another possibly is that when firing ceased troops would pick these
