Since treasure tokens are artifacts, they can be wonderful support for cards like Akiri, Line-Slinger, Bronze Guardian, and Fathom Fleet Swordjack
I understand where you're coming from, but you also have to keep in mind that GameStop has never done anything like this before and a lot of things can go wrong
Increased Value Graded cards often sell for more than raw (ungraded) ones, particularly if they score a high grade
But if we are simply talking about the initial battle effect, then this is actually pretty playable card
