I think this deck is probably pretty weak against Dredge and Id really like to find a way to have more good answers
The thing is, +2/+0 and equip 1 for pirates isnt anything particularly special in small numbers or really at all
If an effect would put one or more counters on a permanent that you control, it puts twice that many of those counters on that permanent instead
