The piece is made of a pierced bowl and handle and tab that one would place across the opening of a cup while water is being poured through the tea held in the strainer bowl. The handle is stamped on the underside with the Webster arrow mark. The piece measures 6 1 4 in length across including the tab and handle, and weighs 25 grams, almost an ounce the
