There are plenty of games where they come at you too strong and fast for the Orb to make any difference and would have been much better as anything else however in any game that is at all close the Orb will make a turn or twos difference and swing the game in its controller's favour

Although the creature dies at the end step, the creatures you cheat out with Through the Breach are often winning the game that turn anyway

I think Dictate of Erebos and Grave Pact are more important cards for Sacrifice decks, but if you have room for a somewhat similar effect, Eliminate the Competition is a great inclusion
