本品は鎌倉時代、古瀬戸の破れ壺です。

よく使い込まれています。岩華文が彫られています。細やかな部分まで丁寧に作られています。

ドイツで出土した発掘手の塩釉小壺(18世紀)と、オランダで出土した金属の鍵盤（おそらく銅）を合わせて、茶入にみたてました。

茶席の花入としていかがでしょうか。
