In models of multiple myeloma, Carfilzomib potently bound and specifically inhibited the chymotrypsin like proteasome and immunoproteasome activities, resulting in accumulation of ubiquitinated substrates. It induced a dose and time dependent inhibition of proliferation, ultimately leading to apoptosis. It also
