the inclusion of mixed finer grits causes it to leave a finer finish than one would expect for so aggressive a stone
allowing the user to mow with ease in a swath of just the right depth and width without getting bogged down
allowing for a wide array of holds without taking up any more space than needed
which is prone to cracking
