The reel's line capacity is a DT6 plus 40 yards of backing. There is some minor scoring to the faceplate as we see on many of the Peerless reels. The handle arm rotates freely without contacting the sideplate, so I'm not sure how these marks developed. Regardless, a fine fishing reel and perfect size for trout fishing.
