Most other things are pushed into the background, because if you dont have a realistic plan for killing the player with the Initiative before they get to the final room of the Dungeon, you have probably lost anyway

Atogatog Copy And Paste Atog is a popular creature (maybe less loved if you played Pauper) that spun off into a series of other Atog cards, each with the gimmick of sacrificing a permanent to give temporary stat boosts
Stoneforge Mystic does that with equipment, preferably those that have mechanics like living weapon or for Mirrodin!, which are put into your hand and later onto the battlefield
