Cats date back all the way to Magic s first set, 1993s Alpha , which saw a singular kitty mark the debut of the creature type in the game: the iconic Savannah Lions
Parapet Thrasher
Furthermore, tapping and untapping permanents dont win the game on its own
But in Commander, the chance of sacrificing a creature with seven or more power is much, much easier which unlocks the -7 ultimate ability where target player draws seven cards and loses seven life, doing a pretty good Griselbrand impression (which happens to be banned in the format)
And keep in mind that there's also value in cheap but highly useful cards, scarce ones, or alternate-art versions, but that deeper review comes later
If you havent given this card a spin yet, I highly recommend it, as decks designed to take advantage of its talents can often win the game with ease if it sticks
