Ash glaze over red slip Dimensions 12. 5 cm high John's work is all hand thrown from a blend of West country clays, and his pots are often altered while still soft on the wheel. He uses locally sourced ingredients for his subtle stoneware glazes wood ash, local stone and clays. Decoration is kept to a minimum. He soda fires in a gas kiln.
