It used to be a highly first pickable card where as now it is just a decent card
You cant attack with a Character on the same turn you play them unless it has the Rush keyword
The two major white protection spells, Teferis Protection and Clever Concealment, have all but phased out the likes of Make a Stand or Unbreakable Formation
While these clones dont get those ever-valuable enters abilities, they have a few benefitsnamely copying something after theyve been in play for a turn so you dont have to worry about summoning sickness

Given how scarcity and playability are usually key to a card's price, and not looks (this isn't Pokemon), I'm never sure to what extent this is to do with people not liking the alternate art
