Because youre in Black, you can probably benefit from every single one of those downsides, so Rankle can be incredibly powerful in the right decks, and if theyre your commander, then theyre probably in the right deck

Collective Voyage Im not fond of cards that completely break open the developing stages of a game, but Collective Voyage can lead to silly matches where people are casting their finishers on turns 3-4
While we wont have access to Craterhoof Behemoth, or Patriarchs Bidding, there are cards that can do similar things for us
