I thought long and hard about the layering of these and remembered that you can get 5mm coloured acrylic so it was perfect for the layering of this piece to make them appear layered like real ladybirds with the order of the wings

it will be the red/pink option that you'll get

and red pearl marble acrylic with gold mirror centres

The brooch measures approximately h5

I can only really make 1 (about a 18cm square surface) sheet a day and they require a lot of attention to ensure that the result is properly fused together

The Phoenix has become a bit of a symbol of mine of the last few years, as such this design was inspired by that and the times in life that I have been mentally pulled down.
