Description

柿右衛門手の白磁蓋茶碗です。

燭台の針部と、受け皿が分かれるようになっています。

須恵器の中でも極めて珍しいこの器形は、北方遊牧民族の皮袋に由来して、はじめに中国・朝鮮半島を経由する過程で土器に写された皮袋形土器の派生の一種と思います。

一部塗りのはげも見られますが、いい古味へと変化しています。

本品は細かな線刻文が胴周りに刻まれた高台付きのバンチェン土器です。
