Removing a game-ending threat for one mana represents incredible value even when opponents gain 10+ life, since dead players gain no life at all

Its much more consistent than Call Forth the Tempest because it doesnt matter what you cascade into, plus the cheaper mana cost makes it easier to sequence this with multiple spells to get the effect you want

The best protection equipment is debatable

It's honestly not even that great a card being mostly an overpriced Reconnaissance Mission but it's thematic, so if you've got the spare cash then it's a fine inclusion

It only works with zombies, which makes it pretty much useless in other aristocrat builds, but its still a fun card in its own little niche
