手にして以来、ずいぶん調べましたが、時代背景等特定には至りませんでした。おそらく出土品であり、あちこち丁寧に修復士による丁寧な修復がみられます。

古い斑竹の表情がたまらない香筒です。

入蘆花では茶盆として使用しております。

室町時代、村田珠光（1423-1502CE）は日本の茶のシーンに「侘び茶」という新しい概念をもたらしました。
