Feels like more of a 2-of that you sometimes can play for a small board benefit and to generate you some passive lore

It can be a 3/3 if needed as a blocker early, but late game can be 6 8/8s to finish off the opponent

The Incarnation cycles that appeared in Judgment (and beyond) captured the idea of a presence bigger than the creature itself, each one representing a concept that would then benefit your other creatures from beyond the grave

That being said, I thought it would be fun to start an article series where every now and then I compile a list of mono-colored commanders that have piqued my interest
