It's powerful but not overwhelming (again, in most cases - Progenitus with their protection from everything is the clear outlier), but also so precise that it requires a mnemonic device just to remember how it works midgame
And yes, non-shiny versions of these cards will also be present in the expansion set, so it's still fairly easy to get them if they turn out to make up the new Pokemon TCG Pocket best decks
Collectors who can't get to a Gamestop are willing to pay a little extra for a copy, while those who have access to a Gamestop don't see the card as being particularly valuable
Since then, Boseiju, Who Endures has lived up to its hype and basically every green deck in the format plays at least one copy of it
As far as actually playing the deck, there's fun to be had
