The rules are pretty simple
These cards shouldn't be counted directly as lands, but three copies of Elvish Mystic can be a fine reason to play, say, sixteen lands instead of seventeen or eighteen in your 40-card Limited deck
Its especially dumb when you combine it with Blitzball Shot, as you could even cast that combat trick with the first damage trigger and get extra damage with the second hit
On the positive note when it comes to tournaments in particular you can just focus on the game and because the various event based tournaments are not precisely linked by specific players, you can participate in these events at whatever pace you like
Banefire, Fireball and even Crackle with Power can deal a lot of damage
This was pretty much the case in Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash Draftmost of the best cards were gold, and most of the gold cards of the same guild functioned along the same basic theme, so you couldnt go too far wrong by just picking a guild and sticking to it
