This sounds great, but this deck struggles with an opponent's Garbotoxin and is completely worthless against VirGen due to Virizion EX's (EX) Verdant Wind Ability That is unless you utilize your own Garbotoxin and rely on Hypnotoxic Laser to beat Virgen

Having access to an extra card each turn can significantly increase options for mono red

While there are many different ways to define a good format (see Stephane Ivanoff's article about it), I have one that is usually overlooked: better formats tend to be slower
