In the vast majority of games, the life that your opponent gains from you nuking their creatures with Swords to Plowshares will not amount to much, unless theyre playing a black deck with life-to-resource cards (watch out for Toxic Deluge or worse, Yawgmoths Bargain !) Swords to Plowshares isnt a particularly expensive card, and its very easy to find

Forcing your opponent to make sure one of his hands is behind their back the whole time to avoid discarding their play hand is a vile and beautiful move
This giant wizard deserves more play than it sees
At a measly three mana, being able to play revealed cards from the top of your library whilst simultaneously doubling landfall effects is an incredible upgrade for landfall decks
