The weakness of this build is that it tends to brick if you draw only Thomas, D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok, and D/D/D Doom King Armageddon as unlike Blue-Eyes, which has a lineup of level8 monsters as well, D/D/D doesn't have a Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon which can special summon itself via its own effect

Using the effect of Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon , tribute itself and two Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens to recruit Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion
Its a fine benefit, but honestly hes been powercrept since at least 2017 back when Kess, Dissident Mage was introduced similar ability (not quite as good since Dralnu can activate on opponents turns and potentially multiple times if you can untap him) but for a cheaper mana cost and gives you access to a third color but most importantly Kess doesnt threaten to sacrifice all your permanents if the Red player at the table hits you with some burn spell
By combining this you can sweep, keep your Commander and then drop all else, at instant speed despite what abilities they have to keep them up
