There's a ton of theft effects, almost none of which are playable outside of narrow deck archetypes
Flubs invites you to eschew disruptive cards, reject participating in the 3v1, and ignore the political game
Then theres the last mode, which can create an Eldrazi Scion token creature to act as a chump blocker or provide some Treasure-like mana acceleration
Obviously we can go further with this, running a dedicated Lands deck that looks to fill our graveyard with lands and other stuff via cards like Faithless Looting and Life from the Loam, recur our stuff with Windgrace and stuff like Splendid Reclamation, and throw in cards that care about lands (Avenger of Zendikar)
Like a lot of the other cool, iconic legends in the set, 6 mana is a lot, but being able to flip this guy into a 9/9 that fights a creature, gives you a ton of mana, and eventually turns back into Clive rather than dying, could make it all worth it
(With 40 and 40 for one on one and 60 and 60 for Commander life totals.) It's more fun
