As far as strategy goes it is very important to move Darkrai from your hand to your bench when you need the have a possibility of the defending Pokemon not attacking, also I would definitely play Dark Slumber right away to make the defending Pokemon asleep and then use Dark Resolve especially if the defending Pokemon is asleep and it should be because of Dark Slumber
Green Ascendant Packleader Mono Green Aggro has been stomping its way through Standard since the last rotation and now it has the perfect one-drop, something it didnt have at all before
Overall, this is a very cool experience for EDH players, but do not expect it to be nearly as powerful as its older counterpart
Gyarados, Blastoise ex, Articuno ex, and Palkia ex can all thrive with Mistys energy boost, allowing them to hit hard right when they enter the fray
If WotC wants to expand the cycle further, I expect well see some of Drizzts most famous and enduring foes as well: magic-hoarding drow mercenary Jarlaxle, the ambitious assassin and duelist Artemis Entreri, the possessed crystal shard Crenshinibon, and the great orc king Obould Many-Arrows could fill out some of the black-based color combinations
Great for TCGs like Magic: The Gathering
